Welcome to the Mesa Arts Academy
The Mesa Arts Academy offers a K – 8th grade academic program with an emphasis on the arts and multi-media technology.
In August of 2005, the Mesa Arts Academy adopted a school-wide motivational program, REACH, which has been nationally recognized as a program of excellence. Students participate in twice-weekly motivational assemblies that recognize academic and artistic successes. Parents are required to be active participants in this process with a daily requirement to check and sign “home-school binders” and a mandate that they contribute a minimum of 50 hours of family participation each year.

How the Tax Credit Works...
Anyone who pays state taxes may be eligible for the tax credit*, which is not the same as a deduction on your income tax form. For Example: if you owe $1000 in state income tax, and you donate $200 to a Qualifying Charitable Organization such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley, you may subtract the $200 from your tax bill and pay the state only $800. You can even use your $200 donation as a federal income tax deduction.
*Married couples filing jointly in 2009 may deduct $400.

Donor Receipts
Please print and complete the donor portion of this email and return it to the Program Service Center with your gift. Donations received or postmarked by December 31st will be eligible for the tax credit in that calendar year. You will be issued a receipt to use for income tax purposes
